Australia Day 2019 Perth Guide To Fireworks, Celebrations and Activities



This Australia Day, Langley Park is THE place to be with family fun galore in the free Entertainment Zone plus Perth’s best views of the fireworks show. The Langley Park Entertainment Zone starts from 3.00pm.

The official site of the City of Perth’s Australia Day celebrations is at Langley Park. Being right on the waterfront, it’s also a prime spot for catching the city’s big fireworks display. The entertainment zone opens from 3pm and features entertainment and activities for kids of all ages. As usual there is plenty of amusement rides and inflatables, climbing wall, motocross and BMX stunts and a handful of waterslides to cool your cockles on. Then let’s not forget about the mandatory big Aussie sausage sizzle!

Fireworks begin at 8pm.

SkyFest Australia Bunbury

The annual Sky Fest Australia Day Celebrations is held on 26 January.  It invites the Bunbury-Geographe community to share in a nation-wide celebration of pride. The event is held at Bicentennial Square and the Graham Bricknell Music Shell. From 4pm, there will be activities and entertainment for the whole family, including live music, train rides, a Kids Stage, food vans, market stalls, Sideshow Alley, fireworks display and much more.

Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival – City of Cockburn

Celebrate Australia Day Cockburn-style and enjoy a free sausage sizzle on us! Plus there’s free entertainment for the whole family including:
Watermelon eating competition (bring your own watermelon helmet to this event to win a $100 voucher)
Sandcastle building competition (win a season pass to Adventure World)

Aboriginal basket weaving

Australia Day in Armadale Alcohol Free

This is a smoke and alcohol free event, which is proudly supported by our major partner Lotterywest. In an annual Australian tradition, celebrate Australia Day with a jam-packed evening of festivities and fireworks in the Armadale City Centre. Secure your spot early with a picnic in either Minnawarra or Memorial Parks, and embrace the community celebration in this hassle free carnival atmosphere, where there are lots for everyone to do. At 8.30pm the highlight of the evening is the spectacular fireworks display to the all Australian soundtrack which will be broadcasted on local radio 107.3 Heritage FM for those watching the fireworks from home in the local area.

2018 Australia Day in Rockingham

Come down and enjoy a summer evening at the Rockingham Foreshore to celebrate Australia Day! Free children’s activities, live entertainment, food trucks, market stalls and fireworks at 8.30pm!

5K Foam Fest in Perth

Australia Day Celebration & Fireworks Bassendean

From 5pm to 9pm, our Australia Day Fireworks and Celebrations feature live performances, show-rides, an Australia Day Ambassador, and live broadcast by event partners 98five Sonshine FM, culminating in a fireworks spectacular at 8pm.

Bring a picnic or buy food and drinks from the many food options on offer.
