SKYWORKS LANGLEY PARK ENTERTAINMENT ZONE

This Australia Day, Langley Park is THE place to be with family fun galore in the free Entertainment Zone plus Perth’s best views of the fireworks show. The Langley Park Entertainment Zone starts from 3.00pm.

The official site of the City of Perth’s Australia Day celebrations is at Langley Park. Being right on the waterfront, it’s also a prime spot for catching the city’s big fireworks display. The entertainment zone opens from 3pm and features entertainment and activities for kids of all ages. This includes plenty of amusement rides and inflatables, a ferris wheel, bespoke Australia-themed maze with lookout tower to get your bearings, unicorn photo opportunities, climbing wall, motocross and BMX stunts and a handful of waterslides to cool your cockles on. Then let’s not forget about the mandatory big Aussie sausage sizzle!

Here you will find carnival land, water playground including a huge selection of water slides.

Australia Day Celebration & Fireworks Bassendean

Celebrate Australia Day with family and friends at the Town of Bassendean’s 14th annual Australia Day Celebrations & Fireworks. From 5-9pm at Ashfield Reserve in Ashfield, enjoy a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere accompanied by great live music, thrilling show rides, spectacular fireworks and more. On-stage be entertained by WA’s premier Latin Ensemble Orquesta Yambeque, 50’s-style rockers Bang Bang Betty & the H-Bombs, and Bassendean’s own samba stars – the Bassonovas. As well, meet Australia Day Ambassador Colleen Hayward, sharing her story and inspiring us by talking about what it means to be an Australia Day Ambassador. The event kicks off from 5pm and continues through till 9pm, with everyone’s eyes turning to the sky at 8pm for the fireworks finale. Bring your Bluetooth speakers and tune into 98five Sunshine FM for the live simulcast soundtrack created especially for the event. You can pack a picnic, or purchase food and drinks from the many food and drink stalls on site. Car Parking is strictly limited. A $10 fee per car applies in the designated parking area at Cyril Jackson Senior Campus – Enter via Chapman St. Payment is CASH ONLY. Follow directional signs from Guildford Road.

Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival

Celebrate the Cockburn way at our Australia Day free family event. Join Channel 9 personality, Jerrie Demasi as the MC of this favourite event. It includes live performances by Bindjareb Middars Aboriginal Dance Group, Kanagaroo Creek Gang and Nitronet. Come along for lots of family fun including rides, water ORB balls, entertainment, mermaids, free sausage sizzle (while stocks last), watermelon eating competition and sandcastle workshop. Australia Day in Armadale Alcohol Free

This is a smoke and alcohol free event, which is proudly supported by our major partner Lotterywest. In an annual Australian tradition, celebrate Australia Day with a jam-packed evening of festivities and fireworks in the Armadale City Centre. Secure your spot early with a picnic in either Minnawarra or Memorial Parks, and embrace the community celebration in this hassle free carnival atmosphere, where there are lots for everyone to do. At 8.30pm the highlight of the evening is the spectacular fireworks display to the all Australian soundtrack which will be broadcasted on local radio 107.3 Heritage FM for those watching the fireworks from home in the local area.
