COVID-19 Safety Plan

Perth Bouncy Castle Hire and COVID-19

Dear Loyal Customers,

The safety and well-being of our staff and our customers is the number one priority at Perth Bouncy Castle Hire.

Due to recent events, we would like to take this opportunity to assure our customers that we are taking every precaution and working even harder to protect our customers and our employees.

At Perth Bouncy Castle Hire we have always had a stringent hygiene process in place. However, due to the current Covid-19 situation, we have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our staff and equipment.

We want to assure everyone that we will work diligently with every customer to find agreeable solutions for those who have events booked with us. We will also be creatively working with those who will need services in the coming months.

WHY AUSTRALIAN OUTDOOR ATTRACTIONS ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MASS GATHERINGS

It is important to remember the difference between attractions and other venues such as theme parks, outdoor attractions, go karting, and aquatic attractions, for mass gatherings such as events, festivals and concerts:

  1. Capacity can be reduced/managed to allow for appropriate physical distancing.
  2.  Some amusements with seating positions can be controlled by PBCH team members.
  3.  Exposure time is limited. Guests generally move throughout their experience, much like in an inter-city district or shopping centre. The guests are not sitting in a single location, elbow-to-elbow, for an extended period.
  4. A large percentage of attraction attendance is made up of family members and others who live in the same home and thus do not need to be physically distanced from each other.
  5. If a positive case COVID19 was to be identified as having been at a venue, it is easily traceable back to a park or outdoor attraction on a day/time.

STEPS WE’VE TAKEN:

PRE-SCREENING

The firmest control is to prevent any potentially infected customers or staff from attending. Wherever possible, PBCH will seek to pre-screen staff and customers prior to attendance, in line with identified public health processes. Guests and team members must not attend if they have any COVID-19 symptoms, have been overseas, been in a COVID Hotspot, been in close contact with a person who is COVIDβ€”19 positive, or COVID-19 positive themselves.

COVID-19 symptoms include: cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath. In addition, to COVID-19 symptoms, staff should be advised not to attend work with any flu-like symptoms or related illness.

PBCH employees have been advised to wash their hands or use hand-sanitiser at frequent intervals and after any of the following: using the restroom, sneezing, touching their face, blowing their nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, eating, drinking, smoking, entering or leaving a guest area, and before starting their shift. This is a critical protocol that PBCH helps to keep employees and guests healthy.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING & OCCUPANCY

Physical distancing to be observed as well as avoiding handshaking and other greetings where contact is made.

A reduced capacity may be required. If an amusement device is to be operated with a reduced capacity, then the loading and distribution of patrons on the amusement device should be conducted in accordance to Australian Standards.

FACE MASKS/CLOTH FACE COVERINGS

All PBCH staff are required to wear a face mask during supervision of amusements/inflatables and operating food machines.

GLOVES

All PBCH staff are required to wear gloves during the operation of food machines.

SANITISATION

The cleanliness of our equipment has always been of paramount importance so we are maintaining our high standard cleaning procedures for our equipment, both onsite and in the warehouse.

PBCH Staff have been advised to sanitise high-touch areas frequently. Some of these include: entry and exit points, mini golf clubs, striker hammer.

PBCH will provide ready access to hand hygience products (alcohol-based hand rubs and/or a sink with soap and water)

FACEPAINTING AND ARTISTS

Artists will be wearing a mask. If the kids are of the age where they must wear a mask, our face painters can do designs on their forehead and/or arms so the mask isn’t removed. Our face painters also paint 15-17 children per hour which means they’re spending less than 5mins per child.
Current close contact rules include “15 mins of face to face contact where both of you are not wearing masks” and ” you have spent more than 2 hrs in a small room with the case, both not wearing masks.” In this instance, artists would not be classed as a close contact.

FLEXIBILITY

We are flexible and here to accommodate your needs as we move through this critical period and work towards a better day for all of Australia.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and know of our prayers for everyone affected by this virus. We look forward to seeing you at your next event!

We will keep this page updated with any other changes or amendments to our normal operating procedures due to COVID-19.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Perth Bouncy Castle Hire
